I believe that anybody can draw and paint and that they are skills which can be learnt. D’ Studio is a space open to all who want to explore art. No prior experience required and no age bar. D’ studio provides a range of short term, long term courses and workshops for students to learn at their own pace and in their own time. My main goal is to help students embark on their own art journey’s and develop their own distinctive styles and enjoy themselves, while they are at it.

Most people think of art classes and art workshops to be an activity for kids and art enthusiasts. But the influence that creating art has, on the way we think is far beyond achieving the obvious goal of painting a pretty picture.
As we know, our brain has a logical left side and an artistic right side. So, perceiving and creating art is the work of the right brain. The right brain is also associated with your inventive, intuitive and imaginative powers. Thus, the experience of learning to draw and paint will develop your ability to perceive things freshly in their totality. Creative solutions to problems, whether personal or professional, will be accessible to you through new ways of thinking.

Creativity is not just limited to the arts, but is required and used in fields other than art too. Anyone who wants to get their working skills under better control and learn to overcome blocks to creativity will benefit from delving into the process of creating art. Also creating art has soothing and pacifying effects. Often people who draw and paint say they find themselves feeling fresh, almost like they had been meditating.
